Spring Cleaning Tips

Did you know that Econo-Clean is not only the most effective deep cleaning product you will ever use, but it is also a powerful restoration tool. Most products in todays markets are soap, phosphate, and solvent based. This means they can only remove what is on the surface and lack the power to penetrate the root of the surface or material you are cleaning. With the combination of Econo-Chem’s soy and Sodium lifting agent, you will not only be able to clean with visible results, but you will also be able to deep clean and restore.

When cleaning items or surfaces that the longer you let Econo-Clean sit, the better it will work. 

With Spring around the corner, we have put together a few suggestions combined with suggestions of the tools we carry to deliver the best results possible.

Patio furniture, umbrellas, upholstered chairs

Take a 10:1 dilution of Econo-Clean and pre-spray all stains on your removable cushions. Once you have completely saturated the stain, put them in the wash and wash with cold water, a small amount of your regular detergent, and let air dry. You will notice that Econo-Clean will remove all unsightly stains and make them look new. You can take that same 10:1 dilution and spray your cloth umbrellas. Use a soft bristle brush to gently agitate the stain out then follow with a rinse with your garden hose and high-pressure nozzle.

Cleaning your wood or vinyl patio deck has never been easier

Take a 10:1 dilution of Econo-Clean and pre-spray the area. You may also use Econo-Clean at a 10:1 dilution in a weed sprayer. Another recommended tool for this task is our amazing Hydro Foamer. You can simply premix Econo-Clean at a 10:1 dilution in the hydro foamer and spray down your deck. Our foaming gun allows you to turn your product into a lathering foam that will provide you with adhesion to all surfaces. After letting your Econo-Clean sit for five minutes, take a deck brush and brush away all your debris and stains. Rinse with water and be amazed at the results. 

Outdoor

This same application as described above is excellent for other spring outdoor cleaning applications such as hot tub covers, gazebos, trampolines, stone exteriors of your home, oil stain removal from your driveway,

• While your barbecue is still warm - *not too hot, pre-spray with a 10:1 dilution. This will remove all the baked-on food, grease, and dirt residue. Follow up with a 120:1 dilution and a soft microfibre cloth to polish the stainless steel and restore your barbecue to new condition.
• Garage Doors often get exhaust stains and dirt build-up. Use your 10:1 dilution to remove all staining and deep clean.
• Do you have a pressure washer? Did you know Econo-Clean can be used as a pressure washer soap? Simply dilute Econo-Clean based on your PSI. For example: If your pressure washer is 1200 psi, you would dilute Econo-Clean 120:1. This equates to roughly ¾ of a cup into a 20-litre pail of water.
• Pre-Spray all your dishes and silverware with a 10:1 dilution before running your dishwasher. This will ensure all baked-on food is successfully removed.

Did You Know?

Did you know that a 10:1 dilution is also great for using as a stain remover on all your ski jackets, running shoes, gloves, and ball caps? 

That same 10:1 dilution is excellent for cleaning your golf clubs, hockey gear, golf shoes, and snowboard boots.

Not to mention that Econo-Clean combined with our hydro foamer foaming gun will work well as an exterior car wash soap. Remove all your bugs, salt build-up and general dirt with ease. Econo-Clean mixed 10:1 is an amazing tire and rim cleaner as well!

Use Econo-Clean to also clean the inside of your hot tub, and your swimming pool liners. You may wish to follow up your application of a 10:1 dilution of these areas with a sanitizing treatment of our Econo-Cide sanitizer/disinfectant.

Remember, anything that you can apply water to can be safely cleaned with Econo-Clean.

Did you know that all surfaces and items you clean with Econo-Clean will stay cleaner for longer? Because Econo-Clean is non-residual and works on removing dirt and grime from the pores, you will not need to clean as often. Remember when initially removing hard to clean grime, you should let the product sit as the longer it sits the better job it will do. Use the appropriate tools such as a deck brush, bristle brush etc. to get that initial build-up off. Once it is off, maintaining it with a 30:1 dilution will be a breeze.
