Lemon-Guard is a highly concentrated, quaternary-ammonium based, lemon-scented, broad-spectrum disinfectant and sanitizer designed for institutional use such as Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Restaurants, Schools and Institutions where housekeeping will be of prime importance in controlling the hazard of cross infection.
Lemon-Guard is very effective in controlling odors caused by the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi. It is recommended for use on floors, walls, sink tops, garbage pails, telephones, restrooms, bed pans and in operating rooms.
DISINFECTION: For general disinfection and cleaning in hospitals, nursing homes and institutions, use 1 part to 49 parts of water (900 ppm active). This dilution will be effective against viruses and as a germicide against salmonella choleraesuis, staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and pathogenic fungi. It will also be effective as a virucide against canine distemper, canine herpes and pseudorabies. Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes, then remove excess liquid by wiping with paper towel and then dispose towel. Prepare a fresh solution for each use. Rinse and allow to dry.
SANITATION: If used for sanitation of food equipment or food contact items, limit the level of active sanitizer to 200 ppm (1 part per 220 parts water). Completely wipe off the product from all food contact surfaces and rinse with potable water. Avoid contamination of food.
If you would like to have a pump to get concentrate into the spray bottle, we recommend the pump-4 litre-8 ml.
Using Lemon-Guard instead of RTU products can reduce your CO2 emissions. One 4 litre jug of Lemon-Guard concentrate will dilute with water at a 49-1 ratio to blend 200 litres of hospital-grade disinfectant. You can refill your 1000 ml spray bottle 200 times. Refilling and reusing your spray bottle 200 times will reduce your CO2 emissions by about 75 lbs, per 4 litres of Lemon-Guard concentrate, compared to using and discarding 200 RTU bottles of disinfectant.
